I could not have agree more all the comments posted here. My PC Studio 3 keeps crashing whenever I try to launch any of its tools. Same thing happens on Win XP and Win 7. Doesn’t matters whether I uninstall the crap program and re-installing it.

I will keep off from getting another Samsung mobile from now on.

Having to reset the phone or re-starting my Windows every time it crashes it a whole lot of bull-shit. I think Samsung should stop selling its phones until it can come up with a better program.

EVERYTHING ABOUT SAMSUNG IS CRAP. I FEEL LIKE CRASHING THE PHONE ON THE GROUND AND REALIZE IT WONT HELP ME MUCH. I HAVE THE SO CALLED STAR WHICH CAME WITH THE PC STUDIO. CAN THEY PLEASE BARN SAMSUNG FROM SELLING ITS PRODUCTS.

“no response from the device because it is in the initializing stage after booting” when trying to connect via bluetooth.

As suggested in one of the earlier posts, RESETTING the phone settings resolved this issue.

I faced the same problem with the Samsung Corby. Resetting the phone settings as Haukej suggested in the comments fixed the problem for me. Thanks!

Its a problem with the current version

To fix:
1. Unplug your phone from the computer
2. Uninstall all Samsung drivers including New PC Studio
3.Restart your computer
4.Download this version from this link http://uk.samsungmobile.com/supports/softwaremanuals/software.do?phone_model=GT-S5230
5.Plug in and your phone should be detected

also i cannot receive calls from abroad on this phone…. my old phone (nokia) worked great this samsumg gt5600 is rubbish… i hope i can terminate my contract return this crappy phone and go get an iphone instead.

Believe it or not the reason for the message “no response from the device because it is in the initializing stage after booting. try again after the initialization has completed” is that the phone is not in idle mode – to put it in idle mode simply go back to the initial screen – IMPORTANTLY having the phone simply on the menu screen where you have your various icons to select is not sufficient – Knowing this would have saved me lots of hours of frustration, uninstalling reinstalling etc
